Question:

My daughter is in 10th standard of CBSE curriculum. We are here only for 3yrs and when she will be finished her 11th my husband will be transfer back to India. I want to know that whether she will get admission there in 12th standard or not’s there any provision that she can finish her 11th and 12th in different schools? Please reply me thru mail only. I m eagerly waiting for the answer.

Thanks.

Answer:

It is normally not recommended to shift students during such a crucial year and I would explore other possibilities to avoid any disturbances to your daughter. A few schools might accept your daughter in the 12th class but generally it is difficult to get admissions in the last year of school. Make sure you plan well in advance and talk to the future schools on how to secure a seat for your daughter.

CBSE has certain guidelines that need to be met. They expect the student to have completed class X1 and passed the examination from a school affiliated to the CBSE board. I would advise you to contact the schools in India and discuss all aspects related to your daughter’s admissions before she starts her 10+2. You will also need to have the relevant transcripts certified; check with the schools in India what they require precisely.
