3 week residential program at Cambridge - June/July 2010

The aim of the World Class University three week program to be held in Cambridge this summer is to give guidance to students who are considering applying to the most highly competitive universities in the English speaking world. It intends to ensure students achieve their full potential when applying to Universities.

Ivy Leage Preparation in Gulf & Middle East for Admission to Top USA Univeristies and Colleges

The residential program to be held in July 2010 at Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge will feature experienced U.S. and UK University careers advisors and include British and American Fellows of Corpus Christi College as well as Oxford, Cambridge, U.S. Ivy League graduates and post graduates.

The College recently celebrated 650 years of commitment to teaching and research, carried out on the site of its original foundation in the heart of mediaeval city of Cambridge.

The summer program is geared to improve interview and communication skills in addition the academic content and approach with the intention to enhance the student's chances of obtaining admission to the leading American Universities. Specific sessions by experienced academics will be done to assist students with their "essay" and personal statements.

Students will undergo assessment test and could also do voluntary work with the less privileged. Sessions will be held with staff from Fulbright Commission and admissions team from the leading Universities.

It would include:

  • Sessions on creative writing to assist students with their essays and personal statements
  • Workshops on communication skills to assist students with their interviews
  • Interaction with admissions teams from Ivy League and other top American Universities.
  • Individual guidance with University applications.
  • Seminars on general studies
  • Workshop on study skills to prepare for University
