Dean College

Dean College is a private college granting both associate degrees in 15 majors, and baccalaureate degrees in 5 majors. The College is located in Franklin, Massachusetts. Students can earn a bachelor's degree from Dean in Business, Arts and Entertainment Management, Dance, Liberal Arts and Studies or Theater. Dean students hail from throughout the United States and from more than twenty different countries. The school provides mentoring, tutoring and other personalized learning services for students with diverse learning styles and study skills.

The 100-acre campus is historic, scenic and well maintained, and includes Dean Hall, the College's most historic structure which houses classrooms, the radio station, offices, the Center for Student Administrative Services (CSAS), Campus Safety, video production studios/classrooms, the President's office and board room, and two floors of student residences. Dean has completed an ambitious renovation program which included the installation of an elevator in Dean Hall, upgrades to Bourret Hall - a residence hall; and a complete renovation of the E. Ross Anderson Library. The library renovations completely gutted the original structure and created the school's Green Family Library Learning Commons - a structure which houses the library, Advising Center, classroom and conference room space, faculty and staff offices and a small cafe. All of the renovations were completed in three months time during the summer of 2008.

A state-of-the-art Dining Center and performance space was completed in 2010, and features eco-friendly kitchens and services, the Campanella Board Room, and a 150-seat theatre - "The Main Stage."

The College is known for the access students have to faculty, mentors and tutors who have abundant and flexible office hours and are willing to work with students to make sure they learn and comprehend course material and cultivate confidence in their abilities.

There are many housing options for students including both single-sex and co-ed residence halls, and for upper classmen, furnished condominiums in downtown Franklin complete with hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and spacious rooms.
