Delhi offers 13 bachelor's degrees, 40 associate's degrees and one-year certificates. There are four academic divisions at Delhi: Applied Sciences and Recreation; Business and Hospitality; Liberal Arts and Sciences; and Technology.
SUNY Delhi, founded in 1913, is a thriving institution that enrolls over 2,700 students from New York, surrounding states and several foreign countries. SUNY Delhi is recognized for providing an outstanding student-centered, residential college experience. Delhi has also created a unique niche in higher education by offering a seamless, technology-based education that includes specialized certificates, more than 40 associate degree programs and 10 distinctive baccalaureate programs. SUNY Delhi has earned state and national reputations for excellence and innovation in several program areas, including Veterinary Science Technology, Hospitality Management and Golf/Turf Management, Architectural Design and Building, Information Technology, Nursing and Construction Technology. SUNY Delhi is also the first college in New York State to offer a bachelor's degree in nursing completely online.
At SUNY College of Technology--Delhi, 89.8 percent of full-time undergraduates receive some kind of need-based financial aid.
SUNY Delhi's CADD program is a one of a kind program offered at SUNY Delhi. The program is recognized by the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA).As of 2011 the CADD program has achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the ADDA's National examination, which is over 300+ questions two years in a row. The program also has obtained a rapid prototype machine for use of students, free of charge. This CADD program is a one of a kind, only offered at Delhi.
Notable is Delhi's veterinary science technology program -- it was the first of its type in the United States, and it continues to be a model for similar programs around the country.
SUNY Delhi's culinary team won the American Culinary Federation's New York State Student Team Championship in 2000, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 2010, the eighth year for Delhi to earn this title in the last 10 years.
