Troy University

Troy University is a public institution that was founded in 1887. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 22,211, its setting is rural, and the campus size is 820 acres. Troy University's main campus offers several degrees, ranging from English to business to nursing. Some of the unique programs include geomatics and interpreting for the deaf and hard of hearing. TROY offers associate through doctoral level degrees. In 2009, Troy University began its first doctoral program, the Doctorate in Nursing Practice. TROY's broadcast journalism program has a student-led television news broadcast that has received multiple awards from the Southeast Journalism Conference.
